When Clickteam Fusion 3 comes out, Lacewing will be ported over. As always Lacewing Relay and Lacewing Blue servers/clients are interchangeable in the future you would be able to get a Lacewing Relay Client Android app to communicate with Lacewing Blue HTML5 Client using Lacewing Blue Server. I've also started work on Bluewing Server, and Bluewing Client for HTML5. In the event the bus factor comes into play Bluewing can continue under another dev. Link includes Lacewing public server list, downloads, examples, and source code links. Give it a whirl here (Windows only, for now). I'd thought I'd announce here since it's basically tested and complete now. So basically about ten builds have been released. Lacewing Blue Client, a variant of Lacewing Relay Client, has hit build 60. Lacewing Blue Client "Bluewing" now at build 60 02:05 pm, 6th May 2017 Thanks for the support on Patreon! Next project is a huge DebugObject update, which is discussed in more detail on the site. I will of course make sure that outside my LAN, no one can access PhpMyAdmin. Moving PhpMyAdmin and MySQL (or MariaDB now) to new server. I've set up the auto-rebooter with the new server's details, and made it behave better when I'm using the computer the auto-rebooter is run on. I've set up the OS, files, symlinks, perms, users, remote login, firewall, webserver, local dns server, pylacewing, and autostarting pylacewing. Expect random service downtime and uptime. The servers will be under maintenance for the next week or so. It was also noted that the rebooting program was a little broken, although it didn't really affect its use but more my convenience.Server I, my desktop PC, is having issues with some software and most attempts to reinstall require a reboot, so they'll be a lot of rebooting.I'm moving my Raspberry Pi 1 Model B setup (which ran this webserver, and Lacewing Server II) to the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.I meant to lend it to a family member who was a budding developer, but he seems to have lost the faith in code. However, I have a new Pi 3 Model B, I brought a while ago. I'm not sure what fault it has, since when I went to plug in a screen to view it, it power cycled and after the restart worked perfectly. Instead, the issue was with my Raspberry Pi. This wasn't a fault of the hoster I self-host. Last week the website and Lacewing Server 2 went down. There's just enough costumes for everyone to play as Curly, if this is limited to four players.Server maintenance 07:08 pm, 27th Aug 2019 For example, if player two picks Curly first and player three picks Curly second, player three's Curly would look like Easy Mode Curly from the Cave Story eShop edition, and so on. (Something else that you could do but won't really affect much is alternate costumes, so that player one doesnt get player two mixed up with player three if players two and three picked the same character. There's just enough costumes for everyone to play as Curly, if this is limited to four players.) Like, maybe something to make it less of a hassle between players is having player two able to interact with anything but map changing events, so that if they want a gun different than what player one wants, it won't be an issue. I know this is a demo and not a lot has been set in stone, but it would help to think ahead of the possibilities. Also, how's the second player going to get their guns if they can't interact with anything? Do they automatically get the Polar Star if player one gets it? If so, do they automatically get all the guns player one has gotten? That might cause some problems if player one prefers the Nemesis over the Blade, but player two prefers the Blade over the Nemesis, or if player one wants the Machine Gun but player two wants the Spur. And speaking of the health/missile refill, what do you have planned for deaths so far? Does the person who died make all the others resume at the last save point? Does the person who died just respawn at the last door entered at? I would say the latter option, but the first option would be more true to Cave Story, but also hinder the other players a lot more. One thing I will recommend is letting the second player use the health/missile refill.
